Founded in 1932, Circosta Iron & Metal Company has been a cornerstone of San Francisco’s scrap-metal recycling industry for more than 90 years. Established during the Great Depression by Nick Circosta Sr., the company has remained family-owned and operated for four generations.

Leadership of the business passed to Nick Circosta Jr., who played a key role in strengthening and expanding the company, followed by Steve Circosta, who continued to grow the operation and its reputation for reliability and integrity.

Today, Nick Circosta, the fourth generation of the Circosta family, leads the company, proudly carrying forward the values and work ethic that have defined Circosta Iron & Metal since its founding.
